DJ ICED EGO - EDM & Hip Hop
Omphile Kgasi aka DJ Iced Ego hales from Pretoria in South Africa Garankuwa. He grew up listening to DJ Khabzela hoping one day to make equally good music.
DJ Iced Ego specialises in EDM and Essential House and also produces Hip Hop beats. DJ Iced Ego is a very creative musician who wants to bring a different sound in Africa - something new – he hope that his music will bring hope to people through instruments - that they never give up in life and enjoy life to the fullest. Watching people dance with joy is what motivates him.
He recorded his first song in Garankuwa called Told You & describes it as an amazing experience listening to his own recorded music for the first time.
DJ Iced Ego was then discovered by Black Money Music in Jhb where he met singers like Rough Diamond, Toxic Boys, Young Rich Kid and still works with them.
He is busy with his album Evil Emotions & making a Summer in Berlin Music Video with Scoop Media.
DJ Iced Ego would love to work with people like Petit Biscuit, Martin, Gerrix, Pink and would love to see his music being listened to internationally.
DJ EXTEE - Hip Hop/ House
Kagiso Mokgari aka DJ Xtee hales from Tembisa in Johannesburg, SA. He has always excelled in all the arts - drama, choir, poetry and music.
DJXtee is a very outgoing, out spoken & friendly person who loves to interact with young people and uses his motivational skills to help change their thinking & build a positive future for themselves. Music is the only language that he understands clearly, that he knows it brings people of different cultures together.
He’s been producing since 2004. After few years, he went on to learning to play various music instruments.
Apart from music, DJXtee went on to study IT Internet Engineering/ Network Management, Sound Engineering & Business Management. He is now a successful entrepreneur and CEO of his very own record label DEEPFAM RECORDS.
Music remains the heart and soul of his life.
DJXtee says “any feeling that I can translate into a beat I simply do it”. Restrictions do not exist in this sought-after DJ/ Producer. However, House Music is the specific genre that he loves producing, more specifically Deep, Tribal, Soulful, Dance, and Electronic, Jazz house. He also produces classical/ soulful / conscious hip hop.
DJ MISS T - Kwaito
Thembi Mkhumbene aka DJ Miss T is the First Kwaito Female Dj & hales from Tokoza in Johannesburg, SA.
Her dress-code is Mathanda Kitchen, Samson Overall and All-star sneakers. She tattooed Kwaito Diva on her left hand and is about to release her Kwaito EP/Album titled “Ezase Kasi Lami”.
She says “The reason I play kwaito only is that Kwaito Music is the culture of South Africa, it’s the music genre that emerged in Johannesburg in South Africa during the 90’s. Kwaito is a form of self-expression & a way of life, it is the way South Africans used to dress, speak & dance it is a street style as lifestyle where the music reflects life in the township”.
DJ Miss T’s mission is to keep the Kwaito Genre blazing the airwaves, ensure our youth know how it all started & most importantly, to keep the culture of Pantsula Dancers Dancing to Kwaito Music”
She started her music career in 2016 and has already shared the stage with the likes of Mandla Spikiri, Mapaputsi, Skhokho, 2.5, Mshoza, Drencko, DJ Jucka, DJ Kaygee, Amon, Blorie Da Jam, DJ Sweetment, Toffolux Wabolova, Nomtha WA Kwaito, Stena DJ Bee just to name a few.

DJ Miss T is representing SA at the Southern Africa Music Festival alongside with DJ Melody, Dj Shiks, Dj Sweetment.
DJ Miss T is on a tour to Swaziland in March 2019, Mozambique in June, Botswana in September, Ethiopia there after and Lesotho once again in December.
